patriotic plates and glass question

Are there any good reference materials for the patriotic plates and glassware from WW1? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks....Mike

Here's a glass I recently acquired. A commerative glass dated Aug 1908 for I believe the 5th regiment from the Franco Prussian period. Shows the Prussian Crown of William 1st and iron cross dated 1870. Also has an etched 1/4L on back of rim. I thought it was neat.
