        Hi,

That is a really nice cross - I like them with honest wear and it's got a personalised attachment system that is not common at all. Very nice!!

          Hi Mike,

oh yes, I like these crosses too, that are showing such wearing!

And IĀ“m proud to get this one - I have 43 different ICĀ“s first class now (WW1 and WW2), but this is the first one with such an uncommon attachment system.

          Regards

          Joerg

Looks like someone added this as some kind of pin safety. It was not uncommon that they lost the crosses during combat because of the bad "unsafe" pinbacks.

Yes, someone may added it, but it was a professional work (of a juweller).

Great cross!!!! Nice detail on the crown and the whole thinghas character/ Nice to know it wasn't sitting in a drawer for years. Best of all, like a good woman, it has a "nice rear" as you say.

Great EK, I just love it when they personalize them!

Very nice, indeed! It also looks like it was given a bit of an "extra" vault in order to keep it in place on the tunic. Joerg, how does the seam on the frames of the cross look? Any separation points?

Nice robust pin with a well-finished tip!

                      Hi Eric,

it donĀ“t looks like it was given an extra vault. Please take a look at the photos (I hope they are good enough).

                      Regards

                          Excellent!

This is one that I like very much! Much nicer than a flashy minter. You should be proud to have a cross that displays quite a bit of character. Very finely made.

                          best,

                          e~

                            Hello fellwos,

this thread comes back to the top, because I have to let this Cross go.

If someone is interested, please let me hear your fair offer for this nice cross of a real fighter.

                            Best wishes

                            Joerg
