Red Eagle 4th Class

I saw this Red Eagle on the internet. Does anyone want to venture an opinion? It has this "button device" on the reverse of the ribbon. Has anyone seen a device like this before? It says J Godet & Sohn Berlin. The seller says it is a Sy & Wagner Piece.

Measurements would help, as this appears to be a half-miniature. I like it.

What you have there is a very nice little Red Eagle; but what to call it, size wise, is difficult because it falls into an area where, as far as I know, terms are not clearly defined.

Is it a “half miniature”? A “reduction”? A “prinzen”? Unintentionally, I think, you have posed a second, and very interesting, question here. Hopefully some of our more knowledgeable members can give us some definitions of these terms.
