            Post it in the correct forum of WA which is Imperial Militaria and you will get all the info you want. I do know that the 800 refers to the silver content of the award and that most awards are not marked 800

              Yep, post in the imperial forum, But, more WWI awards were marked with the 800 mark than the III Reich awards were...if I remember correctly...which is difficult sometimes... from what I see, has a very good chance...

                "800" is indeed the silver content. You can check it against known
                makers in the Imperial database thread.

                          The core of this example is generic - used by quite a few manufacturers.

                          Screwback hardware indicates probable 20s manufacture to me.

                            Nice cross Matthew. Just an observation but, I find the style of incuse 800 punch very interesting as it is remarkably similar to the one used on the 800 4 RK.
