i put it aside becouse it seemd so small to me,,

what are the mesurement off these things ???

is it even original ???

this one is + - 45 mm wide and +- 40 mm high

Kay,
Measure the ribbon width as if it were a standard 2nd class ribbon.
A typical Ek2 ribbon is roughly 30mm across while ribbons used on
Austrian tri-folds are about 40mm across. This was done to give
them a bigger appearance when folded.

Here is one of mine-------
Godet marked Ek2 with Austrian tri-fold. The ribbon itself is 40mm
wide giving a total width from point to point of 51.5mm

It is interesting to me how your EK trifold is sewn. The sewing along the margins was done in two directions, leaving a series of "XXXXX". I have looked at many trifold ribbons and have never seen this before. This is the sewing method that some WW2 GI's used on their uniforms. Ammersee
