The eagles on this piece are actually facing in the correct position//direction. This is not a 1914-18 piece and its size is larger than normal with a weight heavier than normal. Now, whether the piece is from the 40s, 50s or 70s I cannot say, but it is a very nice copy and if you are looking for such a thing to fill out your collection this could be for you.
