Here is my last Brunswick related purchase! A flat Braunschweig skull. But I'm really sure it is not a Imperial skull. It is a nickle skull with thin teeth and I think it is ww2 variant.

This catalogue picture was posted in different threads in the forum. My skull looks like the skull in the catalogue. Question: Somebody who knows, is it a Imperial or a ww2 manufacturer catalogue? I think ww2!???

      That's a great buckle, Tony!

Here's a skull I found on eBay a couple of years ago. It was dug up in northern Germany. Cost about 20 Euros, I think.

It seems to have come from a similar buckle.

I would say it is; see how the upper sides of the crossed femurs are wider than the bottom ones? that is so it fits on the round center of the buckle. Here is the back for you Sergeant.
Compare to that, uh....'example' that was on ebay.

                  Skulls!

                  Two skulls that arrived today!

Both are Cupal skulls and typical ww2 tradition cap skulls (worn by the the Wehrmacht KR13 and IR17 to remembering
the Imperial Brunswick IR92 and HR17).

Did you noticed, the most of the skulls in that style have one very big eye!

I saw examples of that skull style made in brass, Cupal, aluminium.....In the most cases with one big eye!
