They were carefully packed into a plastic folder , the condition is outstanding and it seems they were stored that way for a very long time. My arents have some imperial docs from my great grandfather and they were also stored perfectly and in the same condition. That's one of the best NCO-document groups I've ever seen, just great with all those foreign stuff - never seen befopre e.g. the document for the royal house order of Hohenzollern's "Inhaberkreuz" - and that at WWI's end, 1917!
