    A friend sent me a photo for indentification.

    Bavarian Cross for officers and enlisted men, 1913-14. The other side will have the cross-hatched Bavarian daimonds in the center with "Max II König von Bayern" on the arms. (The "II" apparrently for Max "Ioseph I"

      It's actually the military rememberance cross of 1813,14,15 for officers and enlisted.

          Last price guide I had (1999) DM 70. Quite surprising for an item going to be 200 years old. And virtually impossible to find an original replacement ribbon for!

            for the age it is really in a good condition.
            Na ja the price. It always depends how much somebody wants to pay for it. The market is not so big for it than for WW2 zincky stickpins.
            The rarity of the Napoleonic time awards seems to me very underestimated.

              I really like the way it has been accesorized with the hanger, but
              one has to be reminded that the green finish to the arms has been virtually obliterated. That should be brought to consideration on the value of the piece.
