Is the cross the correct medal for the red and white ribbon on this medal bar? If not what medal should be with this ribbon and could anyone post a pic of the correct medal for this ribbon? Or should this cross have a cornflower blue ribbon?

I am not to good at reading bars but I think that the ribbon is for
the Austrian Osterreichisch medal. ( sorry no picture ). The long
service medal should be on a blue ribbon.

I wonder why Edgar's father put the long service cross on this bar? It's possible he had lost it and just put one of his long service crosses on it. Edgar has said the home was bombed out a few times during ww2. Edgar himself is a ww2 uboot vet. I wonder how hard it would be to find an Austrian WW1 Commemorative medal posted above? Next thing is if I did find one should I remove the LS cross and replace it or leave the bar as Edgar's father had it. Then what do I do with the LS crossComment
