cut-out Golden Wound Badge, detail ok?

    Dear all,

I am a little bit worried about the detail on this cut-out Golden Wound Badge. Note that some of the leaves and the small laurel "fruit" balls on the very top show very little detail which is on close inspection not due to wear but in the nature of the strike. Badge is magnetic with minimal rust in some crevices, what you see is finish, not base material. Please give me your opinions, any of yours to compare?

    Cheers, Frank

            Hello,
I wouldn't worry - the badge looks fine!

Thanks to you all for comments!

I just initially worried because it has some areas where it lacks detail compared to my silver and black cut-out wound badges (all different makers). In addition, it is brass metal, not iron as my two other cut-out wound badges.

                Hi Munich,

don't care, the lack of detail should be from wearing and I've got a gold brass badge too. They can be made of brass or iron. Just watch out for brass pieces, which have no gilding left, just polished brass. Sometimes they fake golden badges with polished black or silver brass badges!

                Best regards
