                      well ,,it makes this supplier and manufacturer the best documented yet I think ..

                      in presenting the medal list made
                      I want to be careful to present them
                      as resent developments on official dealer sites
                      and discussions threads on fakes,,
                      show that some people holding on to every straw they can find to make fakes legitimate to sell as original or period .
                      dont want to help them out so the speak

                      some other time perhaps .

                                Regarding the DOV membership medal, I have one also, No 66731 and I can see why people may think it is silver based on looks even though it does not have a good silver ring when tapped. Therefore I did a specific gravity test on mine and found it to be a copper-nickel-zinc alloy. Fred
