here the second silver medal next to the first I collected

two membership coins in 950 silver ,

from two complete different times +

one from +-1885 in mint condition ( never used )
the other +- 1910

notice the differences in the company's name .

a lot off iron crosses are having an inscription on there back...

these coins I have checked fore how these inscriptions are made ...

the coin from +- 1885 has bin carved with an chisel and hammer ....

a nice example off how jewellers did they're thing back in those day's...

of course this is an mint example

this coin has never being used ( or maybe ones )

the +- 1910 coin

is heavily used and has a wonderful patina
that I didn't want to take off to find out how the engravings are done

but still it is very interesting to see how time and usage produces changes to the engravings

I also keep these examples in mind if aim looking at stamps on iron crosses

It was done the same way as the first. Note the stopping points at the bottom of the letters where they begin to curve back up.

coins are the exception,,, to be ordered beside the membership cards

,,you normally just getting membership cards off paper .

I recently obtained one dated 1891...
