Prussian Veteran's Organization

This is one of the Veteran's Organization Crosses, Second Class, but the ribbon belongs on the Prussian War Aid Cross..

This was the Kriegs-Erinnerungskreuz; one of about two dozen different awards of the Prussian Landesverband of the veteran's organization Deutscher Kriegerbund 1914-18 e.V.. This medal was the "mit schwerten" version of two, ribboned varieties, so it's probably not fair to call it a 2nd class.
