It looks like one of the lower grades of the Austrian Franz Joseph range. Value would not be much - less than US$50 (maybe even less than $30) at a guess. Someone who collects them will have a better idea!

This is the Eisernes Verdienstkreuz 1916 with crown. Worth about 25-30 dolars if you had the white and red stripped ribbon and swords on the ribbon (denotes combat award)
