This is a recent acquisition for my medal bar collection. I am hoping that it might be possible to identify the original owner due to the combination of awards. Any assistance appreciated.

Thanks for the comment on the bar. It also comes in its original box with tissue paper and cotton lining.

Since he was a General surely we can did up a picture of him, hopefully wearing the bar.

Don, not necessarily. Find pics of WW2 General is not easy and finding them wearing their medal bars is hard. It is more likely to find one of him with a ribbon bar. Of the 20+ medal bar that I have traced to the original owner only about 5 do I have pics of wearing decorations.

That's very true, WWII gens. wearing medal bars is rare.
