"Frosted" mini Ek

This is a first for me. I just received this nice little stickpin.(thanks Claudio) It's 17mm and 800 silver stamped but what is an unexpected
surprise is that it has a frosted frame. Could this possibly be made
by B.H. Mayer?

Hi Greg,

I wish I could share your enthusiasm, but quite frankly I'm not impressed. If this indeed is in silver, I would expect better details on the beading. Maybe a photo illusion, but the proportions doesn't add up i.e. the cross is a lot taller than wide (also notice the distance between the beadings surrounding the "W"). I might be wrong, but this is how I perceive this mini.

In hand, the proportions look fine. It is highly vaulted and the
scanner distorted it some. As for the beading, it's not as crisp
as it could be but it isn't any worse than my other minis.

Greg, if you're happy..... You've got it in your hand and I don't, so I can't argue about the proportions. Still puzzling how a scan can be so disorted.
