    EK1 1914 (no mm)

    Hello everyone,

Here is an EK1 1914 with no mm, which I received last week. It was discussed earlier in this forum. It is a vaulted screwback, with the mark "800" on the reverse, and is of 3-piece construction.

Any ideas as to who made it? Thanks!

I looked all through the database but could not find a match. EK1's are a bit harder as you don't have those oak leaves to use for comparison. If you look at where the red arrow is pointing on your cross below, you'll see that the top center of the "W" angles down and to the right. This is distinctive. You need to find an Imperial EK1, valuted and marked with this same "W" to be sure.
