but the back is from some other producer ore maybe leftovers production . ( I just don't know )
                still to be found out

incomplete marking by Hansen was also found as you can see here .

its part off a K&B/hansen theory ,but just keep that fore myself until I find more evidence

" A study of EKs- Hansen EKs."

well I had a ek 1 from Hansen and wondered about the maker mark ..

on another forum a member chowed me a document off a firm ,Koch & Bergfeld.

were a identical maker mark was shown fore the jeweller K&B

so I picket up the phone and facts turn out that surprised me and explain a lot off riddles off the ek's from 1914

1,, the firm Koch & Bergfeld still exist .
                      http://www.koch-bergfeld.de/

2,, that firm was owned around 1914 by the Hansen familly
                      http://www.juwelier-hansen.de/juweli...-3/profil.html

3,, the firm had 25 silver jewellers and 15 gold jewellers working there.
(forget idea's about a small jeweller shop)

4,, Hansen had 2 other firm locations in Germany
                      (also big time production)

5,, yes, Martin Hansen had a close bisness and producing relationship with the royal family .
and yes, owned the titel jeweller off royal family .
                      (they were producing jewellers)

6,, also there where more rewards made in those time ,,only at the firm they weren't sure
because all the info about the past was lost during the bombings in WW 2
the Hansen mention was bomb out together with all the family belongings.

                      regards kay

Very nice crosses and also excellent photography. Since there are no Hansen's in the database, these should be added. I'm also embarrassed to admit I've never even heard of a Hansen until today. Thanks for the lesson. Ammersee
