Austrian 2-piece buckle with unusual attachment

Gentlemen, has anyone seen this type of attachment with Z device before? For that matter, any information on 2-piece Austrian buckles? All the Austrian buckles I have seen so far were stamped. Thanks to Tom Y for improving quality of the scan.

Buckle

it seems a fairly normal buckle. Illustrated in the "Emperor's Coat" by Christian Ortner are some similar buckles. As the war progressed further variations appeared including those attached with wire tacks and collapsible staples! Buckles with detachable double Eagles were also manufactured during the war.
