    New Cross Grouping

Just picked this grouping up; all to the same person. Too bad the documents have water damage. Several pages on stuck together in the Militärpass.

    Thanks for looking,

Very nice, congrats on that catch - love that EK2 award doc!
Interesting to see the guy's profession (Landwirt/Farmer) on the Hindenburg certificate, actually.

Too bad most of the pages are stuck together, I did not want to force anything open. Here are some photos as requested.

Here is where your guy earned his EK2. It appears to be during the Kaiserschlacht. Can anyone read the entry?

" Okkupation grosspreussischem Gxxxxxxx (Grabmal???)" -
I'm only sure about the Occupation...
A history of the unit is probably helpful here - gotta hit the sack now, though...
The next entry is the flandern battle it seems, so it could be somewhere near there....
              Good night!

I saw the Abwehrschlact Flandern entry. He has anothe Occupation entry right above the underlined one.

Too late to make a call right now, but this guy might be able to help out, too...

Nice set, despite the water damage. I really like the EK doc.

I've been working on ID'ing unmarked Imperial EK's. I've noticed lately that a lot of these nice old medal bars have Godet EK2 crosses. The above medal bar is no exception...I'm fairly certain that's a Godet. Ammersee

In the red underlined part I read:

22.3 - 21.9.18 Okkupation großrussischen Gebiets - occupation of greater
