I saw an EK1 SB in a grouping today, seemed to be made from sheet metal or similar, definitely not a onepice EK and it looked very fragile in a way that one could probably bend the arms on it if he wanted to by hand. I am cursing myself for not bringing my camera with me so I can't provide any pix. However, the beading and the core features, crown and dates looked very detailed and high quality unlike many reproductions' features, also - the circular patina didn't look artificial. In short - the cross looked very good.
Could you please post variations that could come close to my description if you own one or pix of it - It might still be a copy after all, but I believe in this EK for now - I hope I'll see this EK again, that would be a nice study object after all.
Thanks for any help, it is appreciated.
Rainer
