    EK 2 1870: opinion please !

    Hi

    I am not very comfortable with the EK2 1870 since there is a lot of good copies on the market

    I would appreciate your oponion on this one:

    3 parts
    magnetic
    no mark
    closed ring

    I am not sure about this one. I wish I knew for sure as I have one
    just like it. I have posted mine here and on the GMIC forum with
    no one really knowing for sure.

      GOOD NEWS

      I sent several links concerning discussions we've had about this style of
      cross including pictures of Eric's (monfort) Todd's and mine to Detlev
      Niemann for an opinion.

      Detlev believes them to be a a wideframe varient produced post 1900
      as a private purchase piece. ( NOT an issue 1871-1873 cross )

      This would put it in the same catagory as other Jubilee pieces.
