Rick V. (Stogieman) as a moderator

    Forum Members,

While our own Rick L. is taking a well deserved vacation, another famous Rick will be tending to your Imperial needs – the one and only….. Stogieman!

He needs no introduction, suffice it to say that Stogieman has been a fixture here for a long time. Welcome to our ranks!

    Greetings and Salutations!

Greetings all, well, some mighty large shoes to fill and I'm quite sure Daniel & I will work well together. I'm looking forward to spending some more time in here, as/when I can. Pardon my typing though, I'll be in a sling for at least 3 more weeks due to some shoulder surgery!

While not knowing where to be happy or sad, I welcome a good friend into the powers to be on this forum! There is not a better choice to replace Rick L than Stogieman. Mike

Strained your shoulder patting yourself on the back? All seriousness aside, welcome. I'm sure you're familiar enough with the antics of this menagerie to keep it under a modicum of control.

          Welcome "Other Rick"

          Welcome and good luck.

Greetings and an open invitation to join the Association of Abysmal Typists (not to be confused with ATT) from it's sole member and founder - me!

Can we say nice things about Rick L now???

            Welcome to our new.......

......guardian angel No wonder you needed shoulder surgery after this weight of responsibility landed on you.

Great news though, I have been reliably informed that our new Moderator plans to distribute all his Saxon awards and ribbon bars, as a welcoming gesture to his fellow forum members.

All the best to you Stogie

W McSwiggan, it was never that you could "not say nice things about Rick". In fact, I have nothing but great things to say about him, and I am very grateful for all that he has done (and will continue to do).

I asked for patience because I did not have the time or opportunity to speak to Rick over the weekend, and I thought it apropriate that I talk to him first. I hope waiting two days was not too much of an inconvenience for you.

It's great to have another Rick (Rick II) on board. Maybe after Rick I has a little time off he'll be back. Certainly Rick II didn't stay away from collecting after his shocking statements that he was selling stuff. Certainly Rick II knows his medal bars, but, does he have the rangliste and other resources to research original owners of bars? Me thinks, perhaps he does.

The search was long and hard. Finding someone with the same name, so no one would be confused by having to learn a new one... that kinda stuff.

Poisenally, I am hoping that with my two main "competitors" hopelessly bogged down here, I will now be able to actually score some ribbon bars now and then.

Oh, crap! Did I type that! @%^&*^@!!! I can't erase stuff any more!!!!

Best of all, Stogie-Rick STILL has to feed me lunch when he drops by to visit.

                    Wha'hoppen?

Geez, I HAVE been gone for a long time! I never thought I'd see the day when Reeckie Pinochet has to consider changing his avatar! Sheesh!

Anyways, best of luck to ya, Stogiemensch! At least you will have a Most Adept Advisor to rely on (if needed)....

Now Ricky can get outside and away from that nasty computer and enjoy the summer weather I think the cats are exerting to much of an influence

                      Hearty Congrats to Rick V

All you need is the 'Stogie-stare' to keep people in line . . . if not

                        You guys are Soooo naive.
Does anyone really believe that RickL and Stogieman are 2 different people?

                        Cmon.

The old hands noticed back when stogieman made his first appearance that when posts were coming from the Stogieman computer (RickLs public library computer)...RickL was never online.
And When RickL was online from home.... no Stogieman.

For some nefarious reason RickL has to dissapear... but guess what? Stogieman is now here.
Anyone notice that Stogieman was missing for a while...and RickL was online all the time?

Grow up guys, you are having the wool pulled over your eyes and you dont even see it.

As members of the forum...we have the RIGHT to know why RickL has an Alias.

(None of the folks who have met the so called Stogieman have ever compared his photo to the Imperial collector Ted wolbeck...who just happens to live near RickL...have they? No they have NOT!
Why does Wolbeck pretend to be StogieRick? Simply to try and give credence to RickLs alias.)

I for one think its time that the truth came out!!

                            Drat!

Coises, foiled again! All that money we spent to bribe the New England Contingent, multiple public appearances by the body-double, digital alterations of photographs.... all for naught! The incredible, investigative mind of Chris has revealed the truth....
stogieman is a mere electronic incarnation, yet another sub-plot to the evil plot we have for world-domination.
                            Coises!
