    Generalleutnant Fritz Doussin

    Hello-

I am looking for any information on Generalleutnant Fritz Doussin. Thus far I know he was the father-in-law of a WWII Army Knight's Cross 'Holder', Gustav Bruns and I believe he was the Inspector-General of the POW Camps (troops and officers) of the Army 5. Korps during WWI.

Any further information would be appreciated...

    Regards,
    John

      In addiotion:

Neuhammer was a German military training area in Schlesien (Silesia), today

situated in Poland and called Swietoszow.

Doussin had a lot of first names: Fritz Karl Andreas Eduard Johann E.

      born 1852 died 1944

          Gerdan-

Thank you kindly for the information...This is a good start, now at least I know when he was born/died and a little more about his service. If I may, what source did you use for this info.

          Regards,
          John

            Hi John,

the informations I received from the stock of the heritage of a friend who has

made a list/collection of a lot of German generals (mostly WWI and earlier)

partly with biographical informations. But he did not give any souces. May be

his widow burnt the sources because I only own a small part if his papers. The

            rest has been lost.

But as he was a doctor in history I never had problems with these information

            collected by him.

            Regards,
            Gerdan
