Karl Altermann
K - Karl

G - Görlitz or Gerber
the company was sold to Fritz Gerber, Görlitz - after 1945
Gerber moved to Stuttgart.
The company produced a lot of silver goods.
After years - i also could identify the producer of a rare IC, which has been for a long time in my collection.
It (or the needle) was produced by Jetzler & Cie, Schaffhausen, Switzerland since 1822. It had
the same punze as on the shown pic. (with 800)Attached Files

Here is a link to a thread I started a couple of years ago inquiring if there was any "developments" in K.A.G. identification.
I attach some photos of an example in my collection. The cast core would seem to indicate an "earlier" rather than a "later" cross.
Any new developments?
