I'm going back to the subject.
I should add one instance of each other.
This is my new EK II 1914 "KO". They are very different, you can see it on the simulation.

Not mine but the picture shows great details and deserves to be here.

I would like to add here some pictures from crosses I had and have.
The crosses I don't have anymore are the pics with bad quality.

What I have understood that variations of the frames and cores have not been named or recorded in any organised way, so I ask if someone is willing to help me to make an organised list starting from early to late KO crosses.
So I participate with pictures of three different crosses marked KO.

Here is the first cross which I unfortuanetley don't anymore have.

It is a KO which is an early one, perhaps with the earliest core (opinions and statements welcome).
The Crown is very different from the standard KO and so is the date especially with the "closed" number 4.

Here is a KO that I belive is also one of the earliest both by frame and core!
The core is a cast core and frame is very different from the "Normal" frame which is the later one.

Here are closeups from the innercorners.
This cross might be by frame one of the last ones made of this frame type, if any conclusions can be made of by looking at the softness in the details. So therefore I edited a picture and placed it next to the original one that details of the innercorners can be seen and understood.

I apologise for the quality of these following pics in advance.
Here is a cross I belive to be the latest type both by core and frame (so far).

The core is painted, and it come originally with an award document dated 18 July 1918, the dies in both core and frame look worn.

I will try to gather up a list of variations in both frame and core within the KO. I will both name them and try to point out in which way they are different.
All help with providing pics and facts are welcome, then I can assemble a list when it is considered ready.
