It does look similiar to Italys "Order of the Crown" .
wrong ribbin....but the only medal I can find from Italy w/a crown is this one

is the coat of arms of italy on the back?

      its gotta be this one:

      check http://www.theaerodrome.com/medals/italy/oc.php

yours looks like its an earlier "version" ...maybe why ribbon is off from the one in the link

I was looking as well pictures of the Italy "Order of the Crown". Cross shape looks right but between the arms is it similar line or not?
It would be also something from Belgium or France. Just some how remainds those countrys style.

I wouldn't buy it. IMHO it looks like a cheap one-piece-cast copy. No enamel, just paint. the original was made in GOLD.

Isn't it one of those mini medals that used to be sold in the 1960s? It's meant to be Italian.

This is a cerial premium, from the 1960s. I have the Victoria Cross that was also issued by the Quaker Oats Company. There were several medals that were included in cerial box promotions.

I would love to put your Iron Cross with my Victoria Cross. My late brother kept it until he died.

There's a thread on them somewhere hereabouts complete with the original packets. There was a series of 'Great medals of the world" and they cost @ 50 cents. They were from the 1960s-very early 1970s.
I have exactly the same medal from the attci @ 6 years ago (thanks whoever gave it to me)!
