    Big 5-medal-bar with Silesian Eagle

I got this one from ebay recently. I suspect the owner was a prussian with some connection to a hessian regiment, because he got the prussian Long Service (Ribbon).

EKII 1914 with makers mark "S-W" (= Sy & Wagner, Berlin)
Hessen: Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen "Für Tapferkeit" (real silver)
Hindenburg Cross: Never seen Pforzheim maker with a giant "45"
    Silesian Eagle, lacquered version
Prussian Long Service für 9 years

Back. Note the big "45" on the Hindenburg.

Oh, nice bar!!!! Could also have been a Hessian "national" who was a sailor in one of the Marine Brigades.

My other "nordic" medal-bar with the Silesian Eagle. This was maybe a Navy-member too.

The eagle is the same type but made from bronze. The eagle on the 5 medal-bar is made from iron.
