Flag appears to me to be a modern post WW2 made replica,
not a circa WW1 made IKF based on bright white material,
poor workmanship header construction and the type of rope used,
medium detail eagle, and wrong size as stated which should
be 150x250cm to be period correct. I say a replica rather
than a fake, as such flags were/are flown on Imperial German
Naval battle commemoration days, even during the 3rd Reich.
To provide a more clear answer, NOT a WW1 flag, for the specific
reasons previously stated! Also NOT correct in the measured size
for pre-WW2 battle commemoration day use either. Once again this
is a replica IKF made AFTER WW2, likely in the 1970's or even later.
My opinion is based on nearly 40 years of collecting worldwide
military flags of all periods, and having several original
period Imperial German examples in my own flag collection.
