    EK1 1914 Frosted and EK1 1914 KO

    Hi,

I bought two EK's 1914 last week for in my opinion good price. But for sure I ask your opinions. What's a good price for these crosses?
Any other comments are welcome too! Tanks for your help!

    Regards,

    Josy

    A stunning 1939 1914 Mayer EKI, and 1914 KO.

      Hi,

thanks for your comment. Indeed, 1939 size. Nice cross in my opinion. It's like new. I paid 355,- Euro for both. Good price?

355, EURO for two cased 1914 EKI's, one 1939 1914 in mint condition? I should say so, yes.

          I concur.

          That '14 Mayer is gorgeous
The KO's are very common, but you'd still be hard pressed to find a cased one for less than 250 Euros.

I've never heard it suggested before ... but whenever you see these MINT "26" by Mayer (the WW1 versions) ... you kind of wonder if any of these type were in that Russian Horde find .... OR ... were they all WW2 types

                "26"

It's interesting to see a PKZ number on a cross that was obviously not an official award piece.

Obviously a maker wanting to make known his wares, I presume.

                    Josy,
                    Welcome to the forum.
You have posted 2 nice crosses and the price is VERY reasonable.
The frosted B.H. Mayer is a beauty. These could also be found
                    in a screwback version.
