    two unknown crosses

Would anyone know what these two crosses are and if they are German?? The chiffre in the centre of the crosses looks to me like FW and I would assume that it stands for Friedrich Wilhelm?? Cheers, Torsten.

would anyone know for sure what order the letters on the cross arms should be read? Would it be DKFA??

Deutsche Krieger-Fechtanstalt. On a contextual basis I make this as "German War Veteran's Institute for Fencing" but someone with decent German might want to move the emphasis of the "Krieger" around somewhat. Suffice it to say that this is generally categorized as a war vets organization with prolific tastes in emblem creation. Heering and Hüsken list no less than 19 classes and variations in their Katalog der Abzeichen . . . (9652h,c shown below). Most of these had the "handshake" motif in the center and your example takes the design in a slightly different direction (probably for a local or regional chapter), so who knows how many more variations are out there.
