The reverse. The ribbon on the end is for the long service award.

Wow Don! Somebody loves you for sure. What is the Brunswick colored ribbon - long service? Steve

Awesome Don - you just don't see a lot of 1870 bars!

Don, a really nice bar. I am very surprised to see a blue back rather then red. Blue is usually Navy but the bar does not look like a Navy bar. The last ribbon is either a Brunswick 1914 KVK or a Brunswick NCO 10 year long service award. I would say, due to it's placement, a NCO 10 year long service award.

As requested. Not a very pretty cross.

Are you going to replace the missing medal?

According to Rick this is the way long service medals were worn during the period this bar was made, i.e. just the ribbon.

It would be interesting to see a photgraph of that in practice!

                          Don,

                          Nice bar.

I'm curious as to the dimensions of the 1870 EKII. If not a burden could you measure the EKII?

                          Thanks.

Maybe it's my eyes, but the cross looks kind of TR-shaped to me.
