A 1914 KC fake?

Yes, a very bad copy. Besides, the Knigts Cross was instituted during the Third Reich, so only exists 1939 KC.

There was only a handful of Grand Crosses awarded. I believe they are all accounted for and don't appear for sale. Also, the quality of this piece is very poor. Even standard Iron Crosses are better than this.

I don't know Alikn. I just saw it on eBay and was curious about it. You can check it out on eBay yourself...

I emailed the seller yesterday and told him it was a Grand Cross copy per info I got on this forum. He has since added "Grand Cross" to the item name and also mentions the piece is possibly a fake. Thanks guys. Ammersee
