This is one of those Latvian fakes, there very good but still bad. This guy is often selling VERY good fake RK's and making 1000's of $$$.
But i guess this is one of his new turn outs.........

tsk tsk, people like them should be shot, i can see that people are bidding (or perhaps one of his own accounts) but a damn shame, perhaps one of the reasons why i dont like ebay and stick with my fomer airborn ranger thats gonna be sending some presents to me

but since im rather new in this matter, would the "mistakes" on this 1 be the crown, frosting, catch:hinge and the W ?

I wouldn't know, I personally just don't like the overall look on it, and especially the back of the piece, noticed how they faked the black stuff on the back? (what was it in, a fire? )
But I am sure someone else could tell you what else is wrong with it

But also one more thing, if you email the guy asking him if its real, surprisingly he'll reply back saying "no this medal is a very good repo" or something like that, which is good, but I think he knows he should post that its a repo on the auction.

This looks like a ww2 replacement piece as the frame looks very 3rd reich ie fatter.The crown also has more detail than I've seen or perhaps just less laquer.Possibly a duplicate made in ww2,but if these guys have a reputation for fakes that is the most probable answer.

Obvious coloring to the back is NOT natural. You think they'd get that right at least but it's tough. The chemicals are very unforgiving and just plain darken. But, it's not a 'normal' color so even if they get that part right they're still in trouble if you compare.

Bidding is private, that's nice.
