Ah, tiny ones only 9 or 10mm wide? I just finally got one of this type myself.
1) Austro-Hungarian Order of the Iron Crown 3rd with swords
2) Austro-Hungarian generic "Bravery" Ribbon (probably Military Merit Cross 3rd w/War Decoration but there was no round gold wreath this small to use as a device)
3) Austro-Hungarian Karl Troop Cross 1917
4) Austro-Hungarian 1918 Medal for Two Wounds
5) German 1934 Hindenburg/Frontfighters WW1 X
6) Austrian Republic 1933 WWI Commemorative Medal X
7) Wehrmacht 25 Years Long Service Cross
8) Wehrmacht 12 Years Long Service Medal
9) Austro-Hungarian Military Jubilee 1908 Cross
10) Austro-Hungarian 1912-13 Mobilization Cross
11) what appears to be a Tunisian Order of Nichan-Iftikhar-- no tiny ribbon in stock so they used a normal 15mm size
12) Hungarian 1928 WWI Commemorative Medal, combatants
Former officers and NCOs recalled for WW2 military service replaced Imperial Long Service awards (German or Austro-Hungarian) with the current Wehrmacht versions. I do NOT think this officer had an Austro-Hungarian 25: that would have made him very likely to have had joined about 1899 (no 1898 Military Jubilee medal) and for that senior an officer to have only had TWO WW1 Austrian decorations would be most peculiar.
He would appear to have been a Hauptmann in WW1 (Austria promoted quicker than Germany), with service from circa 1905. Chances are then that he was a career officer in the tiny Austrian Bundesheer. Absence of the usual Signum Laudis medals may narrow down suspects.
I may not be correct with the Tunisian identification-- it is hard to imagine how an Austrian ARMY officer would have ended up with one!!!

1) ö-u Eiserne Krone Orden 3. Klasse m. Schwerten
4) ö-u Karltruppenkreuz 1917
5) 3. Reich EWK "Hindenburg" Frontkämpferkreuz
6) Republik Österreich 1933 EWK Erinnerungsmedaille f. Kämpfer
7) Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnungskreuz "25"
8) Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnungsmedaille "12"
9) ö-u 1908 Militärjubiläumskreuz
10) ö-u 1912-13 Mobilmachungskreuz (Balkankriege Grenzsicherung)
11) ?? Tunisien Orden Nitschan-Iftikhar??
12) Ungarn Weltkriegserinneringsmedaille 1928 für Kämpfer
Ich glaube wohl, dass die Träger österreichischer Bundesheer Berufsoffizier wäre, also Nr. 11 ist vielleicht fehlerhaft.
