    Originality WWI EKII

Hmmm... heared something new today concerning testing an EKII for its' originality:
"if you shake it and you hear something ringing inside it's original (like there's something loose inside)"

I must confess I have never tried this or heared this before. Anyone else has?

    cheers and thanks

BUt many. many do rattle. Many "early" EK2 fakes were single pieces. It's not proof positive, but it's something to look for-like a magnetic core. There were brass ones, but not many. Heck, there were @ 6 million made.
