    Maker and value of this ek, assistance needed.....

    A good friend has offered me this cross, but we'll have to work out a decent price for both parties.

    And of course knowing the maker would'nt be bad either!!

          Interesting screwback variation. Too bad it's been polished.
          I have no idea as to the maker.

            The silver portion has been heavily polished, and I don't think it adds to the cross. Too shiny.

              maybe a1930 variation ????????

                Hi,

                It's a nice cross, but I can't place the maker at present. I've only noted one core type on S-W crosses, and this is not it imo (crown is different for a start).

                P-V, if you have an S-W marked example with this core I would honestly really like to see it.

                  looking in to the book the iron thime 1999 , (stephan thomas previtera)
                  page 269 .
                  there you see the back plate in a 1939 ek1 and wiederholungspange variation
                  also the cross and crown
                  and yes a have a ek2 with s-w stamp and this crown.
                  can't post picture's , a can mail picture's if you want to.

                  maby there more people who want to look in to it .
                  it's getting interesting.
