Inside the case there is a small "hook". Since the velvet part used to be glued to the base of the case, can anyone tell me what was the purpose of this hook? I thought it was to hang the cross when the case is stood up but the case cannot be stood up without propping it in some way.Comment

Nice looking cross. I collect KO's but as yet have non with a case.

Got it. There is a piece of cardboard-type material stuck on the back (old brown glue) at the top. Obviously, one was missing so I have made a new one and stuck it to the bottom as shown on the photo.Comment
