    Any clues as to what this armband was for???

    Okay--my last one for the day and I'll leave everyone alone! Any ideas as to what this armband was for? Looks like a typical field grey tunic, but he has leather looking knee pads on as well. Looks like a S on the armband--Once again, Thanks to all--Mike

      Some sort of "Staff" orderly or runner? The colors and edge stripes probably denote what kind of level command he was assigned to.

        Thanks Rick--The card is sepia in color so it is hard to determine any color on the armband. Not sure what you mean by "treasure trove". I was scanning these into my computer last night and noticed that these three cards were different. Thought I would share them and see what they were. I kinda liked them! All I need to do is start another collection going here! LOL Mike
