Iron cross 1st class is this the Real Deal??

I am very green on these medals and need your expert opinion
on this medal is this the real deal and if so how much would this one be worth to buy

I see a few things about this piece which turn me off

-date is very low, the 4 appears to be almost disappearing into the frames
- the hinge on the reverse is sitting quite high, nearly on the edge of the cross - higher than what ive seen on most originals
- the crown looks very crappy, lacks detail, I realise this is not a absolute with originals however look at where the crown forms up the side and it looks like a blob

Is that an 800 silver mark in the centre? Although the pin and hinge do look early war type use

You really have to be careful buying stuff from there, so much junk, however there are some nice pieces out there, just have to wade though all the crap.

If you tweak the contrast & brightness the core doesn't look that bad, although rough, and the placement of the pin doesn't worry me, but my first gut impression was run away.
