                  Looks familiar - eBay?

                  Imo both the case and the cross are original, but the cross is not original to the case. The case is probably wartime, the cross is probably 20s or more likely 30s based on the hardware. These are one-piece crosses from memory.

                    I agree -the Ek is a one piece from the 20's/30's. The case looks
                    good to me but I am not experienced enough with them to guess
                    about date of manufacture.

                    I tend not to comment on live ebay auctions (especially if I might be
                    bidding) unless it is an obvious fake or the price is completely absurb.

                      I thought the case looked OK but the Iron Times Books states it's also post 1918 and that the crosses with that type of hinge were late war. It does look like a nice set and displays well.
