    Help needed wiht shoulder boards

    Dear imperial colleagues,

I am really out of my field here, I just picked up this pair of shoulder boards, can someone of you identify them?
(I don't even know if they really fit in this forum...)

    Thanks for your help,
    Matteo

These are either some sort of Imperial period Beamter or more likely Weimar Republic 1920s era. I doubt that three pips are correct, but who knows.

My first impression would be that they are Prussian police (SchuPo), from the green colors, but could be customs or finance... some sort of warrant officer level official.

I think these were supposed to have two pips, and someone "improved" them. The middle pip on each shoulder board seems to not match the other two.

          Thanks guys for your help

3 pips seemed odd to me also, for sure the middle one in the bottom shoulder board is different from the others, about the other one not so sure.
Anyway the wear on the other pips is very convincing, and I think quite difficult to reproduce too.

          Cheers,
          Matteo
