The first cross is marked for maker Z by the looks of it. Imperial makers marked their crosses with letters to signify the maker. Z is a common maker. I'm not sure if that case is even a case for an EK2. They usually have a recessed part that fits the cross and are of a different construction. This may be a case for another type of Imperial award. I believe that Imperial EK2 cases were private purchase items.
