    Hello Aurichnet,

Yes. My understanding is that these bars are heavily faked. Hopefully some of our more learned members will provide us with some insights and information.

    Best wishes,

This discussion of this little Iron cross can open a big can of
worms. The easy answer is--No one can prove what is an original.
Untill we can see an example on a medal bar that we can trace back
to the original owner AND we are satisfied it has not been tampered
with, we may never know what is an original.

I have one very much like yours that I have owned for several
years. I really hope for both of us that these little beauties turn
      out to be good.

          Wiederholungspang

These have been discussed at lenght on this forum and the
GMIC forum with no one being able to come up with a known
good example. Even German dealer Detlav Niemann has stopped
selling them because of the debate over them.

Mine is like yours. Silver with a nice black enamel EK and exellent
detail. Definately not a new fake but still no one knows for sure.

The biggest negitive factor is that there were only about 2000 of
these actually awarded making them pretty rare yet almost any day
of the week one or two can be found on ebay and they are EXACT
matches to the ones that you and I and several other forum members
          own.

I still have hope they turn out to be good.
