    Here is a "M" marked 1914 EK2 is this normal for this maker to have the date that close to the edge?

        I haven't seen it in person yet, it could very well be a IVI, does it look OK otherwise?

          Looks good to me
          It's hard to tell from the picture but the core looks
          like it may be a "blued" core instead of black paint. This
          does not effect originality or value (much) but does make a
          nice addition to any collection.
