Yep. It is a slippery slope into Imperial. At least it is away from the dark and into the light.

Don, you got that right. Like many I started with TR, gravitated to just EKs then move to Imperial. I now collect just Imperial medal bars and ribbon bars that I can trace to the original owners. It is usually hard work but well worth the effort. The best one I traced out turned out to be to a TR general and RK winner. I must add that I have alot of help from fellow collectors when tracing out bars. Also it helps to have the period resources i.e. ranklists and award rolls.

i am finding i enjoy imperial more and more. the last three bars i bought were imperial,and i have a Franco -Prussian bar on the way!

i paid $160 USD for it. the dealer knocked a little off,but wouldnt go under $160.
