Glass Bierkrug . . . id and value?

This one came out of an old house. . . a glass bier krug with a gard pickelhaube on top.

The only id reads as such: Otto Hoelz 12 10 1886

there's a little mark on the glass that reas 8/20 L.

That's it!

I like it . . . a friend of mind pulled it out of his deceased father's dilapidated house. I'd like to keep it and pay him something fair for it. I think he would expect half of market value . ..

Ideas?

Just my opinion, but I would think $150 would be a reasonable price, so your half would be approximately $75.00.
