    Several EK1's

Thought I would share these newadditions. Anyone know what "WS" is for? Appreciate any comments you may have as this is not my field but they are beautiful crosses. I have numbered the photo's so if you have any comments you can easily reference which piece you are refering to. Thanks, Richard

Number 1 is a vaulted Meybauer with their crest .....

Those are some nice ones there. The 935 is one of the higher silver content marks and not an easy one to find. WS is a maker mark for the well known firm of Wagner and Son. CD800 is another maker mark, but the maker is unknown. The 800 in this and your other 800 also refers to the silver content. The Meybauer is pretty much textbook for that maker. Really nice items.

                  Richard,
Those are some very nice crosses. You have scored some real
beauties in the last month or two.

Your #4 cross might be made by "Friedlander" They have a very
charactoristic hinge. Check out this thread, it will show you what
                  to look for------

My entire collection was assembled in the last two months; 19 Imperial EK1's. Thanks for the comments. As a note, No. 7 (WS) has a stamped L under the pin while the other WS does not.

That stamped L under the pin may be a quality control mark.

                        Not my field???

                        Hi Richard,

I believe that if it's not your field and yet you collected 19 EKI in two months you have set a record and will possibly win a prize. I know if I bought that many EK in two months I would win the "Frying Pan Upside The Head" award. If you are married get ready to run or duck.

Seriously though, congratulations, these are very nice items you have shown.

                        Regards,
                        Stu
