    Cased EK1

I just got this and was wondering if it is WW1, 20's, 30's, or TR era manufacture. Opinions welcome. Thanks, Ron.

That is a very nice looking set. That is the first KO marked cross
I have seen with a needle style pin. I can not tell from the pictures
but is it possible that the pin has been replaced at some point in time.

I would say that that is a ww1 issue cross.

I believe the KO's are wartime issue. The pin may be a replacement, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen a KO with a needle pin either.

Thanks for the imput guys. It sure doesn't look like a repair, but I assume the pin had to have been replaced? I assume that is not a standard pin style?

There are Imperial EK1s with that type of pin, but KO made pieces usually have from what I've seen two standard type pins, one being thicker than the other but not like a needle pin.

Thanks once again. The hinge device on mine looks the same as Dons example, however the pin itself is much thinner and a different style of attachment. Is the presentation box correct?
